Race for Water arrived in Guadeloupe
Race for Water vessel moored to the quay of the Memorial ACTe in Pointe-à-Pitre
Race For Water, a fully autonomous solar-hydrogen-powered vessel, arrived in Guadeloupe on Thursday 21 September. With the support of La Région Guadeloupe, it will spend 4-month on the island, the longest period of landfall for the Foundation’s Ambassador catamaran. During this stopover, a number of special events will take place regarding the problem of plastic pollution in the ocean such as conferences, workshops, meetings, school visits and a science mission in the waters of the archipelago.
